Bayer Triathlon
Image: Triathlon Once again the largest individual sports event of the area and the year, the “Bayer Triathlon“, will take place in Uerdingen. The event, hosted by SC Bayer 05 Uerdingen has taken place for the 21st time on 31 August 2008.
Year for year the traditional event on the shores of the Elfrather See excites the athletes and spectators alike. Professionals and ambitious amateurs can enjoy the event and compete over the Olympic or sprint distance or they can take part in the public triathlon. The concept is very popular and year for year more and more athletes take part. This year around 1,400 athletics are expected.
A colourful additional programme with something for the kids, sports exhibition, catering stands and other attractions round of the event hosted by SC Bayer 05 Uerdingen.
